Just a little doodle I did!
Done with sharpie pens and colored pencils!
Hello! Just finished this grapite. Elephants are my favorite animal and this one was a ton of fun to draw. The detail in elephants is ridiculous and in some areas I would work for an hour just to cover a square inch of detail.
This one is darker than most of my drawings. I worked in 6B and the finer detail was done in HB.
As always, thanks for looking!
For my brother & sister-in-law’s wedding, I decided to draw a portrait of their beloved Frenchie, Snark. He is freaking adorable. So fun to draw. I pulled a picture of him off Facebook and decided to make it a surprise. I was super nervous because this was the first drawing I have ever given as a gift and since it was so personal, I wanted to make sure I captured him perfectly. I did a lot of second guessing, but overall I am happy with the way it turned out and turns out, they are too!
I used HB-6B and it took me about 2 hours.
Long time since an update! Hope people are still sticking around! I have some new pieces but have been slacking on the website!.
This is a piece I did in July. It is the largest drawing I have ever done on a 16 X 24 piece of paper and done mainly with 2B-6B pencils. I honestly can’t even remember how many hours this took, but it took a long time. I paid very close attention to detail and wanted to make sure it was perfect. In the areas with the most detail I would spend up to 1 hour on a square inch of detail. I was very nervous to draw the “world” and I contemplated leaving it blank and jokingly made a statement that if the whole world thing didn’t turn out, it could just be a white ball & end up a picture of someone playing beer pong. 😉
Anyways! Hope you enjoy, I have some prints available to purchase and am also selling a downloadable PDF as well. Just drop a comment! As always, I appreciate all feedback, constructive & otherwise.
This was a quick watercolor I did a few weeks ago. I’m still getting used to using watercolor, but I really liked the abstract look of it. The color use was a lot of fun to play around with. I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out and framed it for my son’s nursery 🙂
Materials: 4B, kneaded eraser.
This quick sketch took me about 2 hours. It is one of my first landscapes. I’m happy with the way it turned out. It was easier than I anticipated, but a lot of fun!
This is my 2nd watercolor painting & I’m still using the pencils with a flat brush. I was just kind of experimenting with different techniques and getting used to using the colors.. I almost feel awkward using a brush and color pencils- just not used to it! There are so many ways to create different looks you want and it was all experimental. You will definitely find mistakes and places I wish I could erase, but it was fun. I’m excited to expand into this medium! Hope you enjoy ❤
This was my first try at watercolor and I only used 2 colors: blue & green. I used watercolor pencils and enjoyed them. It takes some getting used to. Watercolor is probably my favorite medium to look at (I could stare at Georgia O’Keeffe paintings for hours) but I have always been intimidated by it. It seems very delicate and complicated to achieve, however I also find it the most creative. It was fun to add a splash of color to my art routine!
Materials: 2H, HB, 2B, 4B
This one was really fun to draw. It was time consuming taking about 16 hours. I personally love drawing babies. I think their expressions are so much fun to capture. Overall I’m pleased with the way this one turned out.
I added my Facebook page on the sidebar. I would appreciate it if you went and “liked” my Facebook page!
